Spandex fabric does not unravel and has a tendency to bunch up and get wavy when hemmed so PegStilts.com spandex products are left unhemmed and can easily be cut to a shorter length IF desired.

IF you need to shorten the stilt covers by cutting:  Add a drop of permanent fabric glue to the serged stitch on the interior of the cuff to keep it from unravelling after you've cut to desired length.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

DO NOT IRON OR MACHINE DRY

Gentle Machine Wash or Hand wash

No bleach, light detergent

Lay flat or hang to dry

Kricket Caffery and PegStilts.com is not responsible if you damage your fabric due to mistreatment, not following care instructions, or falling down.

Sizing help for Leg Cuffs for Stilts:

FINDING MAXIMUM LENGTH:

1)  Measure your inseam (from the top of your inside of your thigh to the floor, or wherever on your leg you'd like to wear them)

2)  Add the height of your stilts to your inseam measurement

3)  Subtract 4-6" for floor clearance (you don't want your pants/cuffs to go all of the way to the floor, it is a tripping/slipping hazard)

The measurement you get from doing steps 1-3 above is the maximum length of leg cuffs you would want.

Remember:

You can cut, hem, or roll stilt covers that are too long

IF you need to shorten them by cutting:  Add a drop of permanent fabric glue to the serged stitch on the interior of the cuff to keep it from unravelling after you've cut to desired length.

To roll the stilt covers:  Put the cover on upside down and inside out, pull it all the way up your leg to where you want to wear it and then let the fabric all drop back down right side out around your leg.  This will shorten your stilt covers by 2-3 inches depending on what the width of the elastic in the top cuff of your stilt covers are.

You can also adjust the stilt covers by moving them up/down your thigh, some fit better at the knee, others fit better higher up the thigh, just depends on the measurements and the body it is meant to fit.

These stilt cover leg cuffs are made for peg stilts and most drywall stilts.

DRYWALL STILT USERS:  Please measure the circumference of the widest points of your stilts to be sure these pants will work for you.

These leg cuffs are NOT made for use with bouncy/jumping stilts.
