Rigid Leg Cuff for Stilts
Set of (2) Rigid Leg Cuffs and Hardware
Looking for some upgrades to add to your stilts?
You can choose if you'd like these shipped to you and you'll install them, or if you'd like to have me install them on stilts you're purchasing.
This set of rigid leg cuffs will help you feel even more integrated with your stilts, taking some of the movement out of the leg brace by your knee.
SHARING YOUR STILTS? These rigid leg cuffs are not an option if you plan to share your stilts with other people because if their knee is not properly spaced and able to bend fully the metal could possibly cause significant knee injury to the tendons at the back of the knee, this is why on my stilts I have used the foam…because so many of my customers are teachers using them for multiple students of varying heights and leg lengths.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Hardware is included
Installation requires: A drill, a 1/4” drill bit, tape measure, pencil, a Phillips #2 bit OR screw driver, and a 7/16” wrench OR ratchet with 7/16” socket, T20 star bit, and if moving your strap you'll also need a 3/32" drill bit.
Measure, mark, and pre-drill ALL holes, always!
Be sure that on both legs the placement is the same distance from the top of the leg brace.
CUFF PLACEMENT NOTES: AVOID putting holes within the first 1" of the top of the leg brace.
Be sure that you are able to FULLY bend your knee and that the metal of the rigid leg cuff doesn't make contact with the tendons behind your knee, if you were to fall!
Stilts with a rigid leg brace like this should not be shared with other people unless they can also fully bend their knees without making contact with the metal, otherwise it can be very very dangerous!
